The River's Edge Café & Espresso opened its doors in February 2004 and quickly became a local favorite. Since opening, it has been featured in Sacramento Magazine, the Sacramento Bee and recently won first place in Sacramento's Ultimate Club Sandwich Contest.

The restaurant is a casual, family place located in the College Green neighborhood. Our atmosphere is warm and friendly on the inside with comfortable shaded seating, on the outside. We use only fresh, quality food and 0 trans fat cooking oil.

Breakfasts are our specialty at the River's Edge and include a great selection of omelets, eggs benedict, delicious potato dishes as well as pancakes, waffles, french toast and lots of variations of the traditional breakfast.

The lunch menu includes large, delicious salads, sandwiches and soups made fresh each day.

The River's Edge offers daily lunch specials and breakfast specials on the weekends. Every Thursday, the special is the Hot Turkey Sandwich. This sandwich is absolutely delicious served open faced with fresh roasted turkey, real mashed potatoes, turkey gravy and cranberry sauce.

Special menu items are also provided for seniors and children.

Our separate espresso bar offers a full line of coffee and espresso drinks, featuring Seattle's Best. We also have a variety of teas and delicious pastries.

The River's Edge has a good selection of imported and domestic beer as well as wine. Blood Mary's made with Han Asian Vodka and Mimosas made with fresh orange juice are also available.
